A very wise man once said, “All is vanity. What profit has a man of all his labour which he takes under the sun? For one generation passes away, and another generation comes but the earth lives forever”. An even wiser man said, “Store up not riches on earth where thieves can break in and steal, or where moth and rust can corrode things. However store up treasures in heaven. For where your treasures are; there you heart also lies”.
If our life is merely passing through this earth then where does it go from here? Or is it merely recyclable matter for the bugs? Surely life must be more to it than just surviving for self-pleasure. Why are we so Theo-phobia to speak about a Great Judge? How come hell and heaven are portrayed in this generation to be a fantasy place for the deluded?
Would it be true that if God did not exist then we are the measure of all things? Then the oppressive “bondage” of do’s and don’ts are but a confinement to the natural man. How then can we judge right from wrong? By what measure can we use to evaluate what is morality and ethics? If there is no God and if your life is but a passing phase of Mother Nature presents then we best off trying to fulfill every pleasure imaginable.
In pursue to living a pleasurable life what are the parameters? Oops, I forgot…there are none! So bestiality, pornography, prostitution, infidelity, incest, and every other known sexual perversion are but an alternative lifestyle. Why stop there? Our bodies belong to us therefore we have the right to do with it as we see fit. So abortions and suicide is our choice!
